Cuteness!!

I feel bad that I don't have alot of pictures of Levi, but he just isn't very photogenic these days. He just won't sit still long enough for a good picture! Mallory, on the other hand, is a ham and likes to have her picture taken!

She did have her 1 year appointment last week and the doctor said she is doing great! A little on the light-weight side, but she's not too worried. She doesn't even weigh 18lbs yet, which is only the 5th percentile. However, she is almost 30" long which is well above average. Other than that, everything is great and she's healthy!

Mallory loves to get on Levi's bed to play. She'll stand up and let go of the railing. She thinks she's sooo cool cause she can stand up with no hands for about 3 seconds. It's quite funny!

I was babysitting my cousin's little baby and I left the room for a moment. I came back to find Mallory sitting in the bumbo seat I had out for Baby Emma!

Great Grandma's Farm

This weekend we made a fun trip to Scott's Grandma's house in Newark, OH. It's always a fun time to visit with family and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Scott loves going to Ohio and I have grown to love it too. This weekend we went out there for a reunion and Levi had an especially enjoyable time on Great Grandma's farm. We told him about a week and a half ago that we were going and he talked about it every day until we finally went! He would try to talk me into going to Great Grandma's house everyday. He'd say, "Wanna go to Great Grandma's farm? Okay?" Little turkey! He loves farms, tractors, farm animals, and anything to do with farms! I think it must be in his blood. Scott gets a little anxious, feverish, or passionate when he talks about farming or his grandparents farm. There was one point in his life that he and I seriously talked about him farming for a living. I still think deep down that that is a passion of his. And it's in Levi too.

When we got to Great Grandma's Farm, the first thing he wanted to do was see the chickens. We had to say hi to Grandma first and then we got her mail. But then finally, he got to see the chickens. He helped pick all the eggs and daddy even held one of the chickens for him to touch. I told him to go pick one up, but they were running from him. He kept saying, "they're going away, mommy." Later, he would go and help feed the chickens some bread.

After a little while, he got to go see the cows. He loves cows. I mean really loves cows. Why? I don't know, but he does. For a while he wanted to be a cow for Halloween. Then I talked him into being a farmer and Mallory can be a cow and he could feed her hay. He really likes this idea...we'll see what really happens!

Overall we had a great trip! We got to visit with family and enjoy the reunion. And Levi really enjoyed the farm. On Sunday, Scott walked him around the farm and he got to see more things. I was relaxing in the house. Ah, that was nice. It was only a few hours, but it was better than nothing! Can't wait to go back! ;-)
