Two Weeks Already!

Wow, I can't believe Mallory is two weeks and two days old today!! It goes so fast!! She is such a good little girl and growing fast! At her doctor's appointment on Monday, she weighed 8lbs and 11oz (Levi's birth weight by the way) and grew over an inch!! She's eating, sleeping, and pooping just perfectly! I do wish she'd sleep a little bit longer between feedings at night, but I can't complain too much. She always goes right back to sleep. And she does smile ALOT for a newborn. I have several pictures of her smiling! Of course, it's not a smile reacting to anything particular, probably just gas like most people say. ;)

Levi is doing great as well. He is an awesome big brother. He LOVES his sissy!! He helps out alot by throwing away her diaper. He always brings her her blanket and paci when she's fussy...and sometimes even when she's not! Overall, he's really good with her. He's only hit her twice so far! Not too bad!! It's true when people say that after having your second child your first will seem so big!! It seems as though Levi has grown by leaps and bounds since Mallory's been born!! He is talking soooo well and says well over 200 words, I'm sure. He is very observant and has an excellent memory. He remembers more things than I do!! He is starting to like more foods and is much more willing to eat his meal. As for the temper tantrums, they still exist, but I'm not giving in. Eventually he will learn that they are not getting him anywhere...besides he's not even two years old yet! So I'm sure they aren't going anywhere anytime soon! Yikes!!

As a family, we are doing well. It's so great to be a family of four. Mallory sits at the dinner table with us and even says grace with us. As a family, we always hold hands and say a prayer before we eat and Mallory is now included. Levi loves to say grace and will remind us if we have forgotten!!
