Our First Holiday World Experience

Here in Indiana there is a great amusement park called Holiday World. It's been around forever, but it's grown over the past 10-15 years. It's a very kid-friendly park. In fact, it is really made specifically for toddlers and younger children. There are a few rides for older kids, but not much. I think maybe there are 4 big roller coasters, that's it. They do have a water park though, that has alot more to offer older kids. Anyway, I never realized what a great park it was until I experienced it for myself!

We've been planning our trip for a while and Levi was so excited to go. He would talk about it everyday. We would get online and look at the pictures and video's of all the rides and talk about how much fun we'd have. We stayed two nights in a cabin and went to Holiday World for two days. It was GREAT!!

The cabin was so nice. There was a lake right behind our cabin and you could fish from the deck. They gave us a huge bucket of fish food, so we got to feed the fish. They came right up to the cabin as soon as they saw us. There were mainly bluegill, but some small bass as well. We fished and caught alot of small ones. Scott did catch a decently sized bass, so he was glad about that. And the kids just loved seeing the fish and "petting" them.

We took TONS of pictures and I wanted to enjoy every memory made forever. I'm posting some of the best pictures and most memorable here. We had so much fun we are already talking about when to go back!

FINALLY!!! We're here!!! :) By the way, Holiday World is in Santa Claus, Indiana and the park has different areas that are holiday themed (i.e. Halloween, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Fourth of July)

The weather was gorgeous! Not too hot in the mornings, but hot enough to hit the water park in the afternoon.

I can't believe Mallory has gotten so big! My little girl was riding rides all by herself!!
