Happy Birthday, Levi Wayne!

Five years ago, on a cold Thursday morning on November 29th, my little boy was born.  I truly cannot believe it's been five years!  He has blessed our lives in so many ways.  Levi is such a sweet, snugly boy who loves people and animals.  He is a very caring little boy and a loving big brother.  He is full of life and can be very goofy, a trait I can personally appreciate.  I am so thankful for him and feel blessed to be his mom.

Levi is doing extremely well in preschool and frequently asks if he can go to kindergarten.  He is fairly social and enjoys his friends at school.  He LOVES super heroes, all of them.  He is into pretty much the same thing every other 5 year old boy is into.  Lego's, video games, Star Wars, Angry Birds, and super heroes.

This year for his birthday I really wanted to get him pony rides.  My cousin Megan has the hook-up so it could happen at an extremely discounted price.  Since his birthday is at the end of November weather is always a concern.  This year the weather was beautiful, in the 60's I believe.  So it worked out perfectly.  Since I wanted to do a theme AND have ponies, I had to talk him into having a "Cowboy Party", which was pretty easy to do!  We had a cute invitation made up and had lots of fun activities.  We surprised him with the pony rides and everyone had a great time!

I went a little overboard with his party this year.  I think it's easier for me to go overboard the more parties I have, but this time I think it had a lot to do with the fact that we were moving out of our house the following weekend and I wanted to end our time there with a bang!  After having our house on the marker for 12 of the past 18 months, it finally sold.  So maybe I went a little overboard, so what, it was awesome! :)

The birthday boy got the first ride of the day!

Grom did face painting for the kiddo's.

We had lots of friends with us to celebrate.  Even the bigger kids enjoyed a ride!

Cousin Izzy waiting her turn to ride.

Mallory on the pony, Copper.

Levi wanted to be "King Mario" and this is how it turned out.

We had lots of games like horseshoes, this tin can game, and a "punch out"game.  They were fun!

Harper didn't really want to ride Copper, but we tried.

Viona enjoying some snacks.  What's a cowboy party without root beer?!?

Pretty girl with paint on her face.

Poor girls got put in jail...don't worry it was just for pretend!

Lots of pictures of the past 5 years of Levi's life.  Such a cute boy!

Lots of friends to celebrate with us!

This is Zeke, Levi's best buddy.
