McInerny Central: A Very Special Day

Sunday, March 21st was a very special day for our family. Not only did we celebrate my niece's 1st birthday with a party, Scott and I dedicated ourselves to raising Mallory in a Christ-centered home at our Baby Dedication at church. It was a very special time for us and for Mallory!

We are so happy that Isabella turned one!! She's such a beautiful girl and very smart too! She can say "tickle" and knows what sounds a lion and a monkey make! It's sooo cute! We loved watching her open her presents and play with the paper!! She's a very special girl and we are so blessed to have her as a niece and a cousin!! Here are some great pics from her party!

After Izzy's party was over, we changed Mallory into her dress and headed for the church. I'm so thankful God allowed for everything to work out that day! It was a beautiful "ceremony" and there were alot of people there. It was very similar to Levi's dedication, so we knew what to expect. I am challenged every day by the words that we pledged. Only by God's grace and strength!! :)

We, Scott and Becky McInerny, the parents of Mallory McInerny, do hereby promise that we will:

Provide a safe home where Jesus Christ is loved, served, and worshipped

Teach my child the unchanging truths found in the Word of God

Pray passionately and persistently for my child for years to come

Lead my child to a place of decision for accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and do all that I can to equip my child to be a stronger, bolder, more faithful follower of Christ than I ever hope to be.
